But if replaced, you can drive with confidence for another 100k miles.

I am a certified mechanic and embarked on the journey of doing a complete tear down on the motor. I replaced every seal, gasket, and high wear mechanical part to ensure the long-life and reliability of this motor. Maintenance on this Audi design is not for beginners. The parts are pricey and assembly very unique. It was a rather complicated project with a lot of parts to the puzzle, but I marveled at the quality and durability of the engine internals. I believe that if properly maintained, this audi is as reliable as it gets.
